Thumbs down Never use Webnode!

It'* a free (unless you pay for premium package) web hosting company. They suck! I gave them 120 dollars of my money to find out that they're truly horrible. Right now I'm trying to get a refund. I also purchased a domain name and it turns out there'* something wrong with MY DNS? Okay my internet shouldn't have ANYTHING whatsoever to do with the domain name I purchased. So basically i just shelled out $140 dollars to learn I hate Webnode. They make me want to punch someone in the face.

They're web page editing tools suck and they don't even support any customization at all. You have to use EVERYTHING that they give you,

I was thinking about them, but I'll wait and see if they even give me my money back... I sent them a nasty email! Here'* the Conversation:

Me:
I would like to receive a refund for these two items as I am not happy with the results and would also like a prompt response. I paid via paypal.
Mar. 9, 2009 Payment To Vit Vrba $119.40 USD
Standard Premium Service
Mar. 11, 2009 Payment To Vit Vrba $18.95 USD
Registered for a Domain Name

Her:
Dear Sir,
we have received your PayPal payment for domain name razr89a.com, but the registration has been put on hold, because our system received payment warning from the PayPal service and this issue has to be resolved manually. Thatswhy the registration of the domain name is delayed.
Your premium package is active and your premium features are available.
Please inform us, if there are any problems with your project, our support staff will be happy to help. Also please tell us, if you wish to register the domain name razr.89a.com, we will register it immediately.
^( I already registered one)

Me:
"I'm sorry, but that doesn't quite answer my question. I wanted a refund, because I am not satisfied with webnode service, the website editor is too cheap and there are not a lot of customizations, you don't support customizations, and this company is all around bad. I'm not happy with the service and you're not giving me answers. I don't want to be apart of webnode anymore and I would like my money back. Please don't make this harder than it needs to be."

I have a credit card I use for ALL my on-line purchases. If there'* an issue with a vendor and I can't resolve it civilly through phone calls and emails, I dispute the transaction to my CC company. I've never been denied a refund going this route.

If they don't get back to me on this, I won't even know what to do... Anything you can think of? I haven't called them yet.

Contact PayPal and dispute it there. Sometimes that can be successful. It'* kind like running a gambit through their system if I remember correctly. Let me know how it turns out for you.

Yea I called Paypal and they told me that I have to wait until a few business days for a response on the matter of the refund, and then I can file a dispute. I'll keep you informed, I'll probably wait until Monday. Tomorrow will be 2 business days. We'll see what happens after that.

Ok so I set up a dispute for both of the services I purchased, if I don't get a response by April 1st, I'm making it a claim.

I'm in the process of getting my first refund, it'* only for the $18 one. Now I'm just waiting for the other.. I'll wait until Friday to file a claim, if they haven't closed the dispute yet and given me the refund.
