Default Neighbor House Fire

just got home from work and cound't get up my street.
Police had it blocked off, fire trucks everywhere. I went around the other end and talked the Cop into letting me go to my house. This is 3 houses away from me on the other side of the st. Big family with little kids live in the house. Heard everyone got out safe.

Hopefully they had insurance. If they do, that will be the best thing to happen to that old wooden fire trap.
Very scary thing to happen none the less and thank the big guy up there that no one was hurt.

They'll get a newly rebuilt home out of the deal now.

Ouch, that sucks...glad they all got out okay, though. Houses can be replaced.

Time for them to ditch the vinyl with some quality cedar. They will have to pay for the difference in price only.
Too bad it didn't burn before they remodeled.

I am glad the family got out safely. Houses can be replaced, people can not. If they did not have insurance, maybe you could start a rellef fund for them

I hope they had GOOD insurance, but even so it'll take months before they can even start to rebuild. On top of which, notice the hole in the roof, the house is probably a complete loss.
They'll probably end up moving to another house, and the house'll get boarded up for months.
This kind of thing has to be very hard to explain to a little kid.
