Yeah I was told 1997 was the last year for them, had autostick standard, and had major Tranny improvements, along with many other improvements.

Yeah like I said, I will most likely take it to make a profit off of it. I'll just fix what needs fixed, clean it up and make it look nice, and put it up for sale. I am shooting to get $1500 out of it anyways.

If its free then go for it. Thats the only way i'd ever own one. They are for sure a beater car. I see them all the time rusted to heck. My neighbor had one and it was a pile. Poor interior quality, burning oil, rust after only 5 years (bought it new), and the obvious transmission failiur. Slow too for 215hp. Expect 8.7 0-60 and [email protected] to be the norn for one in top running condition. In C&D the autostick actually slowed it down. Probably a tactic Chrysler used to get a tranny out of the owner faster.
