Default Need Leather help!

Ok, who knows about leather?

I discovered that I've gotten PAINT on my truck'* leather! I've yet to try anything to try and remove it being that I'm VERY afraid of damaging the surface.

Should I just try Leather cleaner and hope for the best? I've got none here, and really didn't want to make it a wasted trip. But if that will work, I will.

This is lacquer paint BTW.

HELP!

You may be able to just rub it off once it dries. If not windex may help. The leather shoudl be sealed real good, so paint should not get in to the pores.

you will be fine for just one time, but DO NOT us windex. or any glass cleaner that has amonia. it fades leather and vinyl.

i use invisible glass on my leather. cleans better than the "leather cleaners". never tried it for paint tho

And as a preventative measure, buy a seat cover.

Good to know...I'll try this on mine sometime soon. I had a shopping Bag on the backseat of my car during the summer...It had red print on the bag which managed to melt onto my seat.
