Ok, well, I just powered up a PC I haven't used in a few months, and it'* maintaining a WiFi speed of 100 kbps (usually 1500 kbps) with a "good" signal. I tried reloading the Linksys driver and even tried installing a new card. Nothing worked. Before I try reinstalling Windows, I'd like to know if there'* something else I can try. Any ideas?
turn off your router. unplug it for 5 minutes. turn ur pc off. and then turn your pc on wait for it to boot and load everything. plug your router back in, and turn on. it resets its self. if that dotn work. call your provider and tell them to get out there and check your signals

This is an ongoing problem, it is not a hardware problem or an ISP problem. It is a software issue. I have narrowed it down to that over the months.

Don't think so. I tried two cards and they both worked the same. And come to think of it, back at Xavier, I was having problems like these over the wired connection, but I only used it for school work, internet and AIM, it didn't seem like a big deal
