Sorry, had to. I love that movie, although I'm probably the only one.
Naw, that IS a classic

My picks:

COMEDY
Office Space (great stress reliever)
All Monty Python movies
Mallrats (I can't believe you missed this Kevin Smith classic!!)
Goonies
Happy Gilmore (and any Adam Sandler movie, really)

DRAMA
Braveheart
Gladiator
The Last of the Mohicans
Interview With a Vampire

OTHERS
All Matrixes (although the first one will suffice. LOL)
Karate Kid
Top Gun
Lord of The Rings of course.

Wow. That'* my two cents.
I would have to agree with you on all of them expect the Adam Sandler movies....I really don't like his brand of humour...Liked him on Saturday Night Live....

Okay these are only a few of my picks....I have many more, but too late to think right now:
An Affair to Remember (the original of Sleepless in Seattle)
Sleeping Beauty
Midnight Express
Bi-Centenial Man (I think that is how you spell it)
U571
Menphis Belle
The Princess Bride
Dune (I hate it but PDad likes it...and it is a classic)

Damn! This has become quite a list. My roommate has about 200 movies (literally), and I am desperatly trying to catch up (isn't the male ego great ). I have about 1/3 what he does. I don't want to duplicate either, but this list gave me a TON of ideas of ones I can still get.

A few more I thought of were:

Pete'* Dragon
Apple Dumpling Gang

Breakdown
Falling Down (Micheal Douglas is excellent in this)
Pay it Forward
Any James Bond movie (ESPECIALLY the ones with Roger Moore)

Murphy'* Romance is good, it has James Garner and Sally Field in it.

Also good are:

Blue Collar Comedy Tour
Coming to America
Band of the Hand
Trading Places
A Fish called/named Wanda ( I can't remember the name)
