I was wondering how long it would take to get to that kind of cat. When I saw the title I was wondering what type of cat it was about.

If you are going to tie him up, make sure you get him a harness, do NOT tie him up to his collor.

They can get that from saliva to blood transfer as well. If you're going to have your cat outside you really should have them vaccinated for FIV/FIP
