Wow both those ideas I gave worked for me at one time or another. I know for a fact there is a registy number to change but honestly dont rememeber the one to edit.

Good luck to you but I am sure someone else can fine that string and post the answer.

I can boot normal but as soon as it goes into windows, it flickers cause the monitor cannot support it. Safe mode is fine cause it goes into 800x600.

What happens when you do boot up? Do you just get a wierd looking screen? Or nothing??
