What'* wrong with the way he drives?.....and the idiots a message...
He'* consistently good on all track types
The guys a very talented driver,
Ummm.....ratings?
They WANT the guy to flip out after a wreck. The EXPECT the bump and run, especially if the slower car won't move up the track. It'* about hype and media. And they're good at it, which is why NASCAR is watched by more people EVERY Sunday than the NBA final 4 and championship. Only the NFL is watched by more viewers than NASCAR.
Guys, this isn't Formula 1. NASCAR cuts it'* teeth on physical racing.

Oh yeah, ratings. Ratings = $. Point well taken. I still prefer to see a clean pass. And, for the record, I don't like it when ANYONE takes anyone out. (except my earlier mentioned comment regrading the 8 and 20) Even when Mr. Nice Guy Gordon takes someone out, I hate that, even though all of my inlaws, who got me into NASCAR, are all Gordon fans.
But confrontation and wrecks equals ratings.
It was pretty cool though when Robby Gordon threw his helmet at Waltrip? (I think it was) last year.
