PJ, I agree that the second connotation would be more popular. It would have come across better if it was suggested as "squishY" instead of just "squish."

Baron von Flufenbrain Dalton V(mutt/mackerel tabby)
Doc Finius Feet(Black and white, with extra toes)
Mad Max the Road Pancake(black and white, found trying to nurse from a thoroughly flat mother.
Dopple(Markings EXACTLY like Baron, but skinnier)
Pretty Boy Floyd(Short Hair Tonkinese, same color as the carpet, total coward, could slink at a dead run)
Rime(Silver Tabby)
[Floyd and Rime both inherited from Grandmother Roney]
Patches(Calico, my Dad named her)
Mickey(black and white, tiny little cat, full grown she weighs 6lbs 4oz.)

How about Boost or Fiero even Maverick because it means unbranded range animal since you did find it without an owner but It is also a ford car name
