My poor little girl
So last Wednesday my wife and 3 yr old daughter got to work early to pick me up. I took my daughter downstairs while I put someting away. I was in a hurry to get back up the stairs and finish one more thing before I left. My daughter was walking in front of me and going slow (of course she is only 3) so in an attempt to speed things up I went to pick her up and carry her up the rest of the stairs. As soon as I got her up I tripped and she fell chin first on the concrete stairs. Of course she started screaming immediately.
I was afraid to look at her. I thought her teeth or jaw was going to be broken. She was fine that way, but had a nasty cut on her chin. After it wouldn't stop bleeding for a few hours we took her to the ER and she got three stitches. We took her this morning to get the stitches out. She was so good, she just laid there and let the Doctor take em out. I was so proud. She did pretty good when she got them too. She fussed alot when they had to inject the medicine to numb her directly in her wound, but she was fine when they did the stitching.
Anyway, the wife and I did get a few pics. Here they are
First, with a BandAId on before going to the ER

And after getting the stitches

I think we have one of the wound before it was stitched on the home computer, I'll have to upliad that one later.

You're a baaaaaad Daddy! Bad Daddy!!!
She probably won't even remember it in a few months. It'* amazing how tough kids are. But then, when she'* a teenager, she'* got ammo.....
Reminds me, though, of the time I had to get 8 stitches in my forehead. I was at Ft Hood at the time. So I'm sitting in the Army Hospital ER, they went to numb the wound, and I'm sure people on the other side of the base could hear me tense up. Once they get done, and walk away to let the drugs do their trick, a little voice from the next bed says "My mom says it'* okay to cry..." A little 4 or 5 year old boy made the whole stupid situation a lot more bearable...

My daughter Britanie was running and slipped and fell and hit her head. She ended up having 10 stitches on her forehead. She cried also for the injection, but she was a trooper while getting stitched and while getting them taken out. I tell ya, kids are troopers when it comes to that stuff. Lol, I know I'd probably cry and I'm 23
Glad to see shes ok though. And BTW...She'* a cutie!
