Is my new toy illegal? Help!
I use a handed down Pump 870 from the early fifties. I never saw any reason to upgrade. It kills turkey as well now as it did for my grandfather. LOL. I did finally trade my old .270 in for an mostly aluminum BLR .243 for deer and love it! At just under 8 Lbs. it never wears you down in the forest.

The Mossberg Revelation is not a pistol grip shotgun. And looking back at your pic it isn't a custom grip but just a hacked OEM one. Either way in Michigan custom or hack, it is now considered a pistol in MI and you now are in possession of an unregistered one.

These, are custom pistol grips Steve. I have never seen a wooden smooth grip in my life.

IMO Yours is a hacked off and sanded OEM stock. Whcih BTW looked like this to begin with.

Either way in MI, fabbing a pistol grip to a shotgun makes it legally a pistol. And it'* serial number will be scrutinized if you register it. Know it'* history?

i dont know what it is lately with shotguns.. ive always liked guns (in a countryboy/redneck kinda way, not a thug/gangster way) i want a few rifles and maybe a nice hangun or two too but i dont wanna go threw the hastle of registering em, so ill get my fill of shotguns first, then start getting into rifles and handguns

for your buck shotguns.
