I agree with you.
They both should of had way more horse,They gave them the fast look without the fast gopower,My previous car was a 87 monte ss,Yes it was quik but it wasnt fast.I added headers, hypertech chip, k& n ,dual dynomax exaust and a couple other minor mods. I have learned that there is no point in spending a lot of money on the 305,Just swap for more cubic inches(327-and up) add a coulple bolt ons and you will much happier in the long haul gaurenteed!

Actually, my dad had a 74 Monte with red velour swivel buckets and a sunroof. I think that car had a 350, maybe 400 cube motor in it. But monte'* were so ugly compared to the GP'*. I do recall the Gp Aero as well. It was sweet.
