What'* wrong with the Corvette? It'* a Sports car. It'* not a 1/4 mile racer, it has IRS so it can turn, which it does great.

The C6 is great. I'm not a GM leg humper, i like and hate their products. But honestly everything was improved upon, without messing it up. Who else has the guts to put a 427CID small block out, and do it in such a svelte package, and go round and round. They're ALL special IMO.

/love for 'vette.

Why do you think that they are making mistakes with the new vette? It has been ranked by Road & Track as one of the top sports cars. It isn't strickly a drag car, it has a wonderful blend of everything. It can turn, it has a hi-po V8 for the straight aways, and it has a good interior to travel a little in. I think that this is one of the best vettes ever made.

Thanks for the pictures though, it'* a great looking car.

The last issue of R&T ranked the C6 as the best all around sports car of the year. The C6 matched the Viper in every aspect of the test track, and it only cost $54,000 as tested.

How'* that for performance vs. price.

Top Gear tried to make fun of it, but when it was on the track, they had no room to talk smack.

Here'* a post you might like http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1008091

Of course, the C6 Z06 isn't going to be a slouch. http://www.chevrolet.com/corvettez06/ Note, the C6 Z06 is a fastback, they have done away with the fixed roof coupe... well, at least with the notchback design, it is a fastback fixed roof.

It is hard to imagine driving either of these bombshells, 100hp more than the C6.... and the C6'* Active Handling/Traction Control kicks in to get my tail back under control more often than I would like to admit. If any of you are ever in Madtown (and there is not salt on the roads) (and you can shift) stop by and we'll have you take a spin around the block.
