A buddy of mine in HS had one of those for a while. Ran it back and forth between Kansas City and Joplin (about 3 hours) for a couple months. It ran well but he had a bad habit of running into things... he messed up the front end on a tree I think and eventually he gave it to his mom. I think it then went to his brother... and then who knows where.

All this beating of these cars is great to know. It looks like Jon got a great deal for a free car, which is now actually a $12.05 car because of the oil cap, filter, and oil. Which kinds of spark plugs does the engine "like" to have? Can the cheapie copper ones do?
Cheapies probably aren't the best, but unless he'* driving it on the track, they'll do okay. Make sure he replaces the PCV foam filter in the airbox too. And please emphasize to him that Mopar 7176 fluid, and Mopar 7176 fluid ONLY, should be used in the transmission, Dexron, Mercron, and "compatible" fluids will NOT cut it.
That is a NICE looking car. Tell him, if he does sell it off later, to take a little care in choosing the buyer. Wish it was closer.....
