Default MY ford takes a dive....

OK, I gotta make this quick...

I was driving down the road in my '81 f150. I noticed some random vibration. It felt like the transfer case. So I pulled over and everything looked good. I got back in and started to drive a bit more. About 2 miles later i went into a right turn. My left rear tire decided to go stgraight. All my lugs were still on the hub!?! Me and a guy who saw tthis happen looked for my tire for 45 minutes...couldn't find it. Oh well, off to get a ride home from my sister to get my spare and some tools.

Later... :?

I hear that. My buddy has a 94 Crown Vic, Interceptor package. The tranny went out on it, he had to drive to Rochester MN to get one from a junkyard, which in turn had to have another junkyard ship it to them. That is a fun car to beat on!

Sounds common of Fords (no offense to Ford lovers). My mom was driving her Ford T-bird when we both heard a loud THUMP. She stopped, the wheels turned fine both ways, but when she tried to put it back in gear, BOOM, the car dropped. The left front wheel broke off at the suspension. And it'* only 6 years old. It looked like a bad-*** lowrider, actually looked cool, besides the fact you couldn't drive it
