Default My day of work

Chris came by, he needed his brakes changed. Ya, I think so.

Ya, rotors are a little worn. No pad left.

Hay, the brake lines don't fit, different thread. By the way, he'* switching back to stock calipers. Where'* the bolts Chris? I don't know? Ahh, we kind of need them. I'm busy, I can't run around picking stuff up. So he called another friend and he came over and picked him up. Meanwhile, I'm cleaning up the shop a bit when I move over one of the bags he had his stuff in. Hmm, brake lines. What have we here?
P3170359.jpg
That would be the bolts.

I was asked to come over and paint some more. Turns out they have a lot of things they need painted. So I may be doing a lot of painting. So I went out and picked up some new paint guns.

Now I'm all set. I have a primer gun, a paint gun, and a small gun for getting in to the tight areas.

The gravity feed guns paint way better the siphon feed. If anyone is considering getting a paint gun, spring for the gravity feed. Paints better with less over spray, and clean up is way easier.

I have no idea. I know they were bigger then stock, so we had to change out the brackets as well.

Lemme guess, he had the Impala brackets that give a W body the larger rotors on the same pads and SS brake lines. Which meant you were in for a 1000 time foot pump right?

My turn to suggest tools. This is the absolute way to go for bleeding.

You nailed it. Pump pump pump. He still needs to bleed it more, but I was running out of brake fluid.
