On my laptop now, been on for over an hour @ 567 Mhz (does 1.3 ghz at full blast)...

CPU = 91F
HD = 110F

4% cpu load...

your computer should have a failsafe where it shuts off when it goes above 75C or so
generally you should be running 30-45C, I wouldn't let it run much higher
