Think about this folks, his computer doesn't work, how is he going to tell us what'* wrong on an internet forum if he doesnt't have access for the most part.?

I was merely offereing an explanation as to why it burned out based on his BC habits.

it doesnt sound good. he pm'ed me his phone number to give him info on the southeast bonneville club meet. i wonder if it had something to do with the error his browser was giving him a few days ago?

LOL i didnt think that i would get a response. I have a hardware issue. I know that its not a software issue because im getting a stop code that says possibly a video card, memory, or some hardware according to microsoft when i searched for the stop code. I tried to install XP and it wont even get to the BIOS

I have a laptop coming From Dell. Insprion 1100 series with Every upgrade available for $400 brand new..... its good to have connections

i bet it'* your ram.... Video cards usually just go blank, but systems still start up. Do you have a dual channel setup, or can you pull one stick out at a time? Was this system recently moved? Ram, or CPU could be knocked loose.

It could also be a bad RAM socket on the mobo. Start the process of elimination game.
