Default my brother needs a car

however he doesnt fit in with the rest of the family and doesnt want a bonneville...

he is 18 and currently drives a red 95 grand am, he has worked at hardees as a manager for 2 years and has not spent a dime, this kid knows how to manage his money. he has 8k saved up for a car, straight up

my dad was trying to talk him into a chryler concorde... WTF!!?!?

he started by looking at a yellow corvette i told him to look away from RWD and something that flashy, the insurance would kill him

this is where you come in... if you were to not get a bonneville, or grand prix.. what would you get?

he doesnt really care if its fast as long as it look good, for this reason i kinda think he might like a newer stratus r/t

throw in your thoughts please, im gonna show him this thread

GTP, but you said no Grand Prix'*.

What about a twin turbo'd Audi? Mercury Marauder? Impala SS? Monte Carlo SS?

And where did he find a vette for 8k?

Do NOT buy a Stratus RT! They have the 2.7L V6 that has got to be the most unreliable engine ever. Yes, much worse than the 3.4L twin cam. They have a desighn flaw that makes them prone to sludge build up that leads to engine failiure around 60-90K. If he wants RWD but not an insurance nightmare maybe a 3800 Camero or Firebird may suite him? Personally i'd get a V6 Grand Am if I was looking for a good looking, reliable, and economical car.

Why? A Regal LS would be a very nice economical car.
