Default Muffler fix...

Hey guys, the muffler on my Sunbird has developed a hole, so it sounds like a ricer now. I was just wondering if it'* going to negatively affect anything other than appearance. Will I lose power/economy?

Danke...

As long as you don't have to go through emmisions, don't get harrased from cops and don't die from carbon monoxide poisoning; you should be good. There wouldn't be any performace/economy disadvantages....

That far back in the exhaust system I dont see how it would hurt anything performance-wise.

Most auto parts stores sell muffler patch kits, ive never used one, but its a thought?
