Default Motorcycle Shows

So, today the GF and I went to the Great American Motorcycle Show today here in Atlanta. Pretty sweet thing for only $12 admission. I talked to a lot of cool people, and saw a lot of cool bikes. Also saw a lot of cool stuff that I really wanna buy now. I even found an MC that I wanna join, and maybe even a job! All in all, I'd say a good day.

I used to own a slant bike. A 2005 Ninja that I bought new off the floor when I was 18. 2 months after owning it I pulled a classic riders mistake and focused on the wrong part of a corner. The result was hitting a ditch at 60mph and me going over the front of the bars, breaking both wrists.

Now, I'm not saying this can't happen on my Harley, but I feel this bike has a lot more control than my Ninja because of it'* length and stretched out forks. That, and I realllly don't want that to happen because of the vast difference in prices I paid.

Yeah,i know what you mean, cruiser style bikes always seem safer, they tend to be ridden more slowly but i think its the size of them means people see them better than a sports bike.I would love a Harley but can't afford one yet so gotta make do with my Blade that i am building Fighter style.

My Harley was actually very cheap. Just on the upper end of the sport bikes price range at $17k.

I've decided to just update this thread whenever I go to a bike show. Keeps the forum clean.

Anyway, the American Legion my MC uses to have it'* meetings hosted their annual "Biker Bash". It was complete with an awesome live band (Southern Rock of course), BBQ, games, booze, and of course bikes!

My phone was my only camera and it was going dead, so I don't have a ton of pics from all the bikes that were there. I do however, have pics of chicks sitting on MY bike!

I tried to get some randoms to sit on it for pics too, but then I figured my GF would get really pissed if I asked someone who wasn't doing that to almost every bike there.

Then, towards the end a prospect and myself went for a nice little joy ride.
