I'm going to build a new mid-range computer. This will be my first build.
Anyone have a recommendation on a MOBO for an Intel Core2 Q6600 Quadcore chip.
Just might as well give me ideas on a graphics card too.
Photoshop & Video editing are the most demanding apps I'll be running.

dont sound to midrange to me!
of course i recommends the 8800 gtx
but middle of the line, i have an nvidia 7900gs that is decently cheap, and can still run most games on med-high settings if you ever get into that.

Get the cheapest name-brand 965 chipset if you won't upgrade. You can even get a mATX motherboard, in fact. The G33, P33, P35, and X38 chipsets are for the next processor FSB after yours. I use an Abit AB9 Pro for my overclocking madness, and it'* paired with an 8800GTS 640MB for ePenis purposes.
