Monsters 2 for $3 sale this week. I head in and they have 5.. yeah...f'n 5 on the shelf. Head to courtesy counter, explain that I'd appreciate them checking out back ....if none..please give me a rain check.
Girl sends head clerk off to find the sale on Monster that isn't listed in the circular. 10 minutes goes by.. phone rings.. "uh sir..where did you find them?" I point about 100 feet away. Moment goes by.. phone rings again. Girl starts writing out the rain check. "We can't find them..so she told me to issue you the raincheck".. uh..ok...

Girl "ok..how many do you want.
Me "half a billion"
Girl "no .. really.. between 0 and 12"
Me "More"
Girl "sorry 12 is the max"
Me "That'* not gonna do.. seriously.. how about 30"
Girl "uh.. yeah..12 is the most"
Me "You sure you can't do better than that?"
Girl (writing 12) "sorry"
Me "You sure you don't have any in the stockroom"
Girl starting to look at me oddly
Me "ok.... thanks" (the whole time..planning on going back tonight or tomorrow for more.)_ Speaking of...nice time to drive 1/4 mile

Walgreens has 4 packs for 5.99 this week. Too bad my store doesn't have any, I get 15% off that too

Went to target and walmart, neither had monster. Going to costco'*/bj'* tomorrow. If they don't have a case, there will be hell to pay.

I've tried that Monster stuff a few months back driving across country & wasn't to crazy about it but maybe I'll give it a second shot. Although I've been hooked on Full Throttle for over a year now. Heck the shop I work in I'm the youngest guy by 10 years & I've got 1/2 the shop hooked on that stuff. We even have a unoffical "Full Throttle Fridays" ( I buy a 4 pack for every Friday) which more work seems to get down, cause after 2 cans of that and some Mt. dew I want to more then 1 thing at a time.

Ps. Rockstar which is pretty good IMO now has a drink called Rockstar 21 which is supposed to be kinda like Sparks which I'm yet to try.
