Default Monmouth, OR? A place I may consider moving to...

Well, as you know before, i would love to move to OR. I know someone that lives there, and he offered to let me follow him there in June when he leaves RIT to head back home for the summer, and let me crash at his parents house for a few weeks. Is this a good place to move to and start life at? Wren, it seems that you are only about a 20 minute drive from there, is it a ok place to live? I will obviously be taking the S10, and about $1000-4000 cash, depending on what my baseball cards and other collectibles are worth. I plan to go to school there for Auto repair, and live in a small apartment/studio. So cost of living would be good to know.

I love OR myself. Monmouth is only a few minutes away from the capital city of Salem so you have some good amenities close by. I love the countryside out there. It is beautiful. Lots of wine country out that way. I would consider it. Cost of living is general compared to other places. Not high, not low.

Will. Get your bearings where your family is. There'* nothing wrong with where you live now. This was actually my problem; I kept wanting to move on. It just takes patience, bud. Patience is a virtue.
