Just got back from there. They've got a price rollback in the DeLand, Florida store. If you're lucky, they'll do it in your store too.

Pepboys around here has Valvoline for .64 cent a quart. That is all my family has used for a long time.

Is Chevron 10W-30 good? I used that in my Eagle (not the 300,000mile one)

I personally don't care what oil you use as long as you change your oil often and on a regular basis.

I however, am a fan of Mobil 1 and posted this simply to let those folks know, who DO use Mobil 1, that there is a good price available right now.

That is a price reduction of about $4 from the current going price at Wally World.

That is a good price and all, but the regular price I have seen at my walmart is right around $22....they have Mobile 1 for real cheap. I think it cost me over 30, maybe around 40 at Advance.

I think I am at 6k on my Mobile 1 right now. The color looks pretty brown still....the oil looks relatively "new." Is that bad though? I thought the dark dark color you get in your oil says that the detergents are working....But I have changed my filter recently....w/o changing the oil.

You probably haven't done any damage, not with Mobil 1 in there.

However, it'* time to get your butt down to WalMart, buy a 5 qt. container, and get that oil changed out!

I just bought one a week ago after I bought the 03. They've been $19.99 for a few weeks here. I was surprised to see it drop while it'* already cheap at $21.xx.

The only downside: WalMart can never keep the Mobil 1 10W-30 IN STOCK!!
