Mobil 1 at WalMart for $19.94 per 5 qts!!!
 

Just got back from there. They've got a price rollback in the DeLand, Florida store. If you're lucky, they'll do it in your store too.

I know that I stocked up...yessiree bobbaloo! :D

I haven't seen that price in at least two years and then only when on sale.

Pepboys around here has Valvoline for .64 cent a quart. That is all my family has used for a long time.

Is Chevron 10W-30 good? I used that in my Eagle (not the 300,000mile one)

I personally don't care what oil you use as long as you change your oil often and on a regular basis. :D

I however, am a fan of Mobil 1 and posted this simply to let those folks know, who DO use Mobil 1, that there is a good price available right now.

That is a price reduction of about $4 from the current going price at Wally World.

That is a good price and all, but the regular price I have seen at my walmart is right around $22....they have Mobile 1 for real cheap. I think it cost me over 30, maybe around 40 at Advance.

I think I am at 6k on my Mobile 1 right now. The color looks pretty brown still....the oil looks relatively "new." Is that bad though? I thought the dark dark color you get in your oil says that the detergents are working....But I have changed my filter recently....w/o changing the oil.

You probably haven't done any damage, not with Mobil 1 in there.

However, it's time to get your butt down to WalMart, buy a 5 qt. container, and get that oil changed out! ;)

I just bought one a week ago after I bought the 03. They've been $19.99 for a few weeks here. I was surprised to see it drop while it's already cheap at $21.xx.

The only downside: WalMart can never keep the Mobil 1 10W-30 IN STOCK!! :x

At that price, they didn't have much left here either. Since I use it in my Ranger too, I kinda cleaned them out of both 10w-30 and 5w-30, heh, heh.

I kinda feel sorry for the next guy...I guess...nah...I guess I don't really. :twisted:

People MUST buy a lot, but they should set a limit. Even at it's normal price of $22 it was hard to get 10W-30. When I could get it there were only a couple remaining.

At the rate I drive, I probably should buy 2 or 3 jugs at a time. I never seem to have $60 available too often though. :lol:

Drive on down to my house. I have a couple extra right now...heh, heh.

Unfortunately..my current funding doesn't support the truckload I'd like to pick up.

make sure you read how many OZ. the cans are. i notice yea walmart brand is cheaper but it has way less OZ. in it :lol:

That's true! You always should buy the brake cleaner that has the great and powerful OZ in it! :lol:

And Don...You BETTER buy some brake clean before we tackle your next job, lol. Not that I minded the jaunt to the auto parts store, but I always end up buying some tool or other when I go there. :roll: Like some GHs have said before; you can never have too many cans of brake cleaner.

Doin Brakes... well ok, Grab that can over yonder..... Psssssssttt, all pretty again... Bug is bothering you... Well there is that all purpose can over yonder.... Pssssssttt, Bug falls to the ground, as good as dead... All is well with the trusty miracle can :lol:
