1 million miles on a 1991 Chev Silverado. Not too shabby. I'd be happy with a million kilometers.

My buddies Toyota Previa van has 580,000 on it now and has never done anything but oil changes on it.

I remember the media types making a big deal when a Volkswagen beetle first broke the million mile mark.

I know it was a big deal the year I broke the million mile mark the first time.

I'm not surprised. I have seen many Chevy trucks go well over 500k. In fact, here is a post from a while back (don't post in it ) about my great uncle'* Chevy that hit 600k in April '07. Not sure what it has on it now, but it still runs.

Semi'* are a different animal, but my friend just replaced the engine in his kenworth after 3 million miles.

i remember on married with children when als dodge was gonna pass 1 million miles they were gonna give him viper for the publicity too bad that cant happen in real life
