Yup. If you're going to turn on Bluetooth, make sure the Discoverable setting is disabled (unless you're pairing a new device). iPhone handles this toggle automatically, most Droids do, too. As long as your phone isn't discoverable, Bluetooth is virtually bulletproof.

Also, if your phone charges via USB, don't plug into random charging stations.
