I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday,
I remember getting into work at 9:00 to hear my collegue exlaim to me the horror,
I remember the constant flow of tear laiden passerbys watching news coverage on our TV'*,
I remember watching as the second plane hit tower 2.....my heart sank,
I remember staring at the TV praying people would be rescued yet knowing it was beyond hope,
I remember going about the day constantly feeling the innocence we lost,
I remember driving home from work focused to the commentary on every radio station that day,
I remember the images on TV repeating them selves every 20 minutes on every news station that day,
I remember hugging my kids that day the first time I saw them cause I just felt like I should,
I remember that on that day the world changed, we no longer took our freedom for granted, and many would pay the price for us to realize our way of life would be changed forever.
To all my American friends who have been affected by this horrible day in history my heart felt sorrow goes out to you, and to those who lost loved ones, or friends.

I heard the first reports on the radio, where they thought it was a small plane, was watching the TV when the second plane hit.
Working by the outter perimeter fence of an airport, one gets used to the plane noise all day. The silence was immediately noticed.

I had just gotten home from work. Turned on the TV, saw the first tower burning. Called the wife, and while talking to her, saw the second plane hit. My exsct words were "Holy ****. We're going to war". I spent the rest of the day glued to the TV...
