Need confirmation on this one.

I want to figure out the actual MPH based on engine RPM, gear selection, final Drive, and tire rotations per mile.

I need someone to verify my math on this one. I believe that the formula is something like this, but I don't know. I have the numbers

6000RPM / 1.56 / 3.73 / 757RPmi. x 60Minutes = 81.72MPH

It seems logical, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing any part of the equation. Thanks in advance.

That looks to be the top of second of a 3.73 geared DOHC 4.6L Ford motor. Oh, of which reminds me there is a 93 Mark in the junkyard untouched if you need parts. Back on topic that seems right. Did you find the tire RPmi by taking the diameter of the wheel + the thickness of the tire x2 and multiply that by 3.14 then divide that number from 5280?

No, I used a little internet calculator. This isn't for my car, but it brings me great joy to know this is right.

And here I thought you were putting a Cobra motor in the Bird. Or Mark VIII motor for that matter.
