When he gets to Monterey, there'* an old fart of a civiian language specialist that teaches Russian. He can nail a St. Petersburg native accent like no other. You'd swear the guy was a natural born Ivan.

Oh and tell him when they send him on the 2 week Air Force, "Oh we'd better make sure these ******** know how to survive if they crash" survival course, that I said good luck.

SERE School. Its rough. They've been known to use interrogation tactics to try to make the students talk when they get captured, which they will.
SERE = Survival Evasion Resistance Escape
