The same thing happened up here in Appleton. The woman was married to a guy my dad worked with. They had a party arranged to raise money for her. Before it could happen she was found out. The party went on anyway and all the donations were going to go to Cancer Research or some other kind of cause associated with the disease. Somebody ended up stealing the money. It'* amazing what people will do for attention.
