He won't have the car for very much longer.
Alternator replacment is coverd under his one year/ 30k mile warranty.
When the alternator needs to be replaced because of the crappy battery, he'll be set.

Honestly I think that is one of the most coherent posts I have made all day. I'm sick...so my posts right now are even worse than normal. My posts in Jimmy'* "This is what she said..." thread are by far worse buddy.
