If you had P-shop you could "Save for web" and reduce the file size dramatically.

Not sure if Paint has that option.

naw i dont think it does. I dont know why its so big, i make jpgs all the time in it and they never turn out this big :?

There we go... It was saving as a png for some reason. Saved it as a jpg. problem fixed.
