Made me laugh, so had to share
 

Drive threw town just before on my way home. Had my son in the back seat. I hear this sound coming up behind me, I listen, my son says, what's that sound? I said, sounds like a fart can. He says, what's that? As this stupid silver car passes me I point at the back and say that. I was nearly big enough to stick my head in it. So he starts messing with me. I'm not even looking over, I'm just laughing. My son says, he's looking at you again. He floors it, wow, I'm scared. My son say, don't you get in a race. (he's nine) I laughed and said not going to happen. Street racing is illegal and stupid.

Hmmmm..... easy to say with a 9 year old in the car. But a good lesson.

That's what it's all about folks...a Gearhead/Moderator setting an example for us all to follow....when we have 9 year old's in the car reminding us to be civil and safe on the road. :)

That's a great story...how many people will your son tell about "fart cans"?

Kinda funny, I heard a mosquito come up behind me and yep it turns out it's trying to rice me, it's a red big spoiler 5inch exhaust tip Honda! Well I decided to rice with it a little bit, but I knew that his car is way lighter than mine and probably wasn't even worth ricing, I started out like I was going to race him, but I ended up slowing down as he floored it, to give it the effect that he had beat me badly. I just laughed as I heard the: bauuuuuuum...bauuuuuuuuuuuuuum....bauuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuum..
Well he finally is out of my sight and I'm still laughing. Couple miles down the road I see him pulled over to the side of the road with a state trooper behind him. All I could muster up doing was to wave and laugh.

Some times, life is funny. Every day in rice land is a joke, so it must be really funny.

I'm lovin' the shopping cart rear spoilers, lowered suspensions w/ stock wheels n tires and fart cans.
Their rendition of "The Fast and The Furious" ends up more like "The Slow and Bi-Curious"...

The best part is when a 9 year old points and laughs. My kid has taste.

One of my friends has a 01 Camaro SS, and he and I were going to lunch with his 5yr old in the back... we driving and he here the dreaded sound :jester: ... shortly after he passes up he revvvs up the vTech 4-banger and floors it... not that he takes off but floors it... ya kno how they do it... and his son starts laughing hysterically... so i look at him and say "go get em"... his sons screams "ya go get em"... well 1 gear lower and 3 seconds later were passing them and hes looking at us like what the hell is under that hood???? :eek:

That's the funny part. The ricers think they got bad ass rides/motors and they have no clue about V-8 American muscle or V-6 ground pounders like a modded Bonnies.

Their definition of torque is how far they had to twist their head to look at the car that's passing them. :)
