Default Macro Pictures Body parts (pic inside)

I've recently become very interested in black and white photography. I took pics of buildings and cars yet never focused on people. I want to change that.

I'm looking for creative criticism/suggestions on what to perfect and what to focus on next. Obviously the eye is toughest, you can see my goofy reflection in the iris, but anyway...Have at it.

She'* gotta be hot. And your camera must be a Sony.

Get CLOSER! I love the Macro on my cam. Shoot a 1600x1200 as close as you can. You'll be freaked out.

I like that pic. It'* a perspective you see every day, but don't notice.

Sweet, I took a course at school last year, it was BW only

... I might end up making a career out of photography. We'll see.

Flowers are a must for black and white!

As for people, the best thing to do is focus on the face. It shows the most emotion. Even if you aren't doing a macro shot, focus on people, and the enviroment they are in. You could end up with very powerful photos.

This would look great in B&W.

Hey Jim what kind of camera are you using? I've got the Canon PowerShot S200 and thinking of upgrading. I'm partial to the Canon line.

Its a Sony DSC-150 I believe, same cam that willwren has, 2.1MP, does the job for me.

DSC-S50. Close enough
I love the thing. Best 2.1 I've ever seen.

yeah, my brother (more of an expert on digi cams) says that Jim/Bill'* camera is elite stuff (Zeiss lens), but the lower-end Sony stuff leave much to be desired.

Don't want to be hijacking, but while we're on the topic of photography, here'* a relatively close-up shot and a little photoshop brought me this:

(original for reference)

I have much larger versions of this, these are sized down...

It'* a film scan from where I got this developed, not a digi cam, so it'* not of the best quality.
