I went to a casino (it is on a Choctaw indian reservation) in Philadelphia, MS mainly to see a friend of mine that flew in from Chicago. It was a 3 hour drive for me. I've never been in a casino other than 1 time for a business meeting but I have never gambled in a casino. As we walked around my friend explained how the roullette game worked etc. I stood there and watched my friend win several times. I tried my hand at it but I failed to follow my instinct and chose a different box to play and lost. I tried another approach and lost again. We then moved over to the slots and I lost there. Dangit!!
Then I saw the machine that would be my undoing. It was the "Deal or No Deal" machine and I got addicted immediately. It was a great time and I played these games for about 6 hours and I lost a total of $33 :(
My friend had the luck of the night so I didn't want to risk losing any more. I am a bit conservative when it comes to money. I had brought plenty to play with but I had that feeling that I would not do well so I quite before I lost it all.
