I know we are all car lovers here and I got a question for you. The situation is you are 17 and have a 96 Trans am and you got spanked by a stock 3800 on the track. You want to make it faster what would you get rockers and exhaust or save for a while and do a head cam setup. money is a slight issue you can't spend over 1800 on it and it is your only set of wheels so it has to be an easy weekend job. What would you do
I think the situation is that there is something pretty seriously wrong with either the car or the driver, or both. Because correct my car knowledge if Im wrong but arent most LT1 Camaro/Firebird/TA cars somewhere in the high 13/low 14 range stock?

ok here is the deal that I forgot to mention this is at 6700 ft so here is where the 3800 is at the advantage. FI > NA in the altitude. That is where it happened. well I guess I forgot to mention that I was not carrying the spare and and he was and his sub setup too. He is also a convertable and a manual so that is prolly his downfall.
