Just gave Brian a call. He got the job!!! After the interview, they put him right to work pumping stuff out of a gas station (I assume it'* gasoline). Pretty sweet, he sounds very happy

The place is UST Environmental. Most of what they do is clean-up and remediation work.
I'd be driving a lowboy trailer towing equipment, and also doing drum collection runs in a box truck. I'd also be doing hump work at the work sites.
Once I get my 40-hour course done, I could start doing hot-zone work(acid spills and other more dangerous chemical contaminations), as well as getting rated for enclosed-space work with respirators.
Tomorrow will be my second interview, and if that goes well, I start training immediately.
