Default Long weekend!( 56K take a break)

Well it is the first long weekend of the year and I plan to head to my parents cottage for a couple days. They got it last year and it is just being opened up this week.

Here are a few pics of it, taken from the real estate agent when they were looking at buying it. To me I used to call everything a camp, till I saw this one, this..is a cottage.

Everything you see in the pictures was being left behind, except for the piano, and a few personal things, but the furniture all stayed.

View from the road

The garage, ( cottage is on the right, and main road on the left)

First view of the Cottage, garage is on the right, and you can just barely see the cottage

Better view of the cottage, yes the back faces the road ( pretty far from the road) and the front faces the water.

Here is the front that faces the water

This is another garage ( cottage is to the left)

View from the porch looking toward the main road

Kitchen, yes that is a dishwasher, all appliances stayed too.

If you are in the kitchen you see this view

View from the loft

One bedroom on the main floor

Bad view of the master bedroom on the main floor

Partial view of the loft

Oh yeah the can within the bathroom , this is a full bathroom, HUGE on top of that, but the people that built it wanted to feel like they were "roughing it" I guess, lol

Did I mention the water, lol

View of a small portion of the lake, about halfway between the dock and that little island is great fishing.

Finally we get to see wicked sunsets almost every night. This was taken back in may of last year when we were first visiting the cottage. As you can see on the right, one of the docks is still out of the water.

First pic is of Maitoulin Island, it is on the great lakes

Here is the lake they are on, if you look in the yellow circle, you can see that island that is pictured above ( the great fishing)

Getting closer, they are approx. there
