Yep...thats the one, it was a toss up between the architraves of Venice (Haileys single artsy pic) or that one!

Your pictures of the Alps are amazing.. I'll be there soon enough, but I can't wait anymore.. :/

Neuschwanstein is also the coolest castle ever.. The scenery around it and the castle are equally awesome..

I saved the Swiss Alps with the mountains as my wallpaper. All the pics were awesome though. I love the architecture.

Well, since everyone seems to like these so much, I figured I'd put up a few more for your viewing pleasure (we took over 400 pics so it shouldn't be too hard to find a few more good ones ).

Hmm...let'* see...

00b6f6c2.jpg

The Alps from the lake in Lucerne (my desktop wallpaper)

9736f91b.jpg

A fountain at the castle ruin in Hiedelberg (beautiful place...I kind of like the ruins better than castles that have been kept in good repair...so much history)

f0ed202d.jpg

A memorial in Switzerland for the fallen Swiss soldiers that protected the French King Louis XVI (really moving in person...you can't quite see it in the pic, but there is a spear in the lion'* side and he is dying )

cedc3bc6.jpg

This is the Spital Bastion in Rothenburg (part of the defensive fortress in the wall)

fd0856e6.jpg

The courtyard of the Spital Bastion

Another pic of the castle ruin

1f8f82f6.jpg

Venice bridges

eeeac7c9.jpg

The steps of a famous Swiss church (and an authentis Swiss man :P )

25354153.jpg

The inside of a palace in Munich (that place was dripping with gold...24 k statues ...pretty impressive )

More Nueschwanstein

View_2_from_castle_ruin.jpg

Hiedelberg (from ruin)

f8b550ab.jpg

Neat alabaster church in Switzerland (the whole place is made of see through stone, and there are no lights...just the light of the sun shining through...very cool in person)

There, that about does it for this installment...maybe I'll find more I love later and post those (but there are so many pics I haven't even had time to go through the slides and get prints made yet :P ).

Hope you enjoy!
