GXP V,

Why are you running the bra- so 80'*. Thought bras cause more damage than protection...

Just prior to going to an autoshow. My candy Paint chips easily. The bra is a necessary evil when I travel. Most Bra damage happens over time and through neglect.

All through this Media craze, I have thought and said, "why don't these idiots turn off the key/or power button"??? I realize panic situations reduce clear thinking, but a majority of these occurrences seem to be drawn out stupid idiots without a brain. I feel very sorry for those who have died or been seriously hurt, but come on. If you can't figure this out, you shouldn't be driving a 2 ton piece of machinery that has the potential

It is also becoming clear that many people are playing this problem to their advantage. Whether as an excuse for a consequence of an action that didn't have anything to do with the issue, or a way to get some attention.

Yea a lot of people are either blaming an accident where just their car was involved or speeding on the recall. I've called bullshit on most every one I've heard so far thinking to myself "You're either a dumbass or fraudster"

I've wondered if turning the car off or putting it in neutral would even work. Take this last guy going down ther freeway doing 90+; the officer could smell his burning brakes while he was catching up to him and the inspectors noted how damaged the pads and rotors were yet Toyota comes out and says nothing is mechanically wrong and now everyone says this guy faked it all.... but you cannot step on the brakes and the gas at the same time - it shuts the system down, well it supposed to at least.
I beleive there is something to this problem and its buried deep in the controlling software
