So... i got lasered goin 56 is a 40..... definetly didn't realize i was going so fast until it was too late. I don't usually speed so it was a shocker to find this a 3 point ticket . So basically i know to go and fight it and act remorseful and whatnot... but it could be really helpful if anyone knew any cops that work in Livonia that they would want to call in a favor for a fellow b-club member?

Well, I live in Livonia. Those cops love speeders. I never drive over 10 over in Livonia, even 5 over. I don't know any of them personally.


What road were you going down when you got nailed?

I don't know any, so I can't help you out but, just wondering...state cop or city/county cop?

The question you have to ask yourself is "Was I speeding?"

If the answer is yes, there'* no fighting it. You won't beat laser anyway. So there is no fight. 'Fixing' tickets isn't something I'd count on.

They might be nice and drop it down to a lower charge, but ya never know.

That will only happen IF you suck it up and plead guilty. If you go into it with a fight-it attitude, they'll throw the book at you. They caught you speeding. You have no grounds for anything but pleading guilty and hoping for the best.

I agree with Bill. You will need to just take the punishment and remember to be extra careful in that area. Sorry it happened.

yea... my goal isnt to say the cop is wrong.. more to say... im really sorry and i will pay any upfront fees, and beg for point removal.....oh and it was a livonia city cop... The one other time i got pulled over for speeding i got it removed by doing that
