This week’* rode trip was going half way well. Small problem with job in Denver Colorado but I did drop in on an internet store that I do business with from time to time. Then it is on to the bustling metropolis of Lincoln, NE. The conversion went really well in Lincoln then it is on to the bright spot in the Corn Belt Des Moines, IA.
So the flight is an hour late boarding in Lincoln. We board then wait on the tarmac for an hour and a half before going back to the gate. Once back in the terminal United cancelled the flight. Call the travel agent and i figure rent another car and drive to Des Moines after all it is a two and a half hour drive and i needed to be there for today. Go down to the National desk and rent a car. Show the nice lady my Emerald Isle card and the service got better. I asked for any car with XM and was told none had XM, but wait this one may. I pick up my bags and cancel my flight at the request of the travel agent and it is off to the parking garage.
Well what do you know it is a GP with XM. So I pop the hood to see what engine is in the ca, a 3800 or 3900 as my car in Denver had a 3900 and was really strong.
Pop the hood and what do I see?

LMAO....it is fun isn't it? Not only should SLE owners never drive a boosted car....but never, and I swear never, ride on a dragstrip in a boosted car....I got the shakes now just thinking about it!
