Why the devil are you even considering anything after about 1973? With VERY few exceptions, late 70'* early 80'* cars are dogs! Sorry to hurt any feelings, and feel free to flame me on this fact, but that'* the truth. They were heavy, underpowered, and over-smogged.

Sounds like you have quite a conundrum - she seems to like sedans, you like wagons. You want muscle, she wants classic styling. You're hosed.

I suggest you go here: http://www.carnut.com/photo/list/list.html and look at a bunch of cars together, then hope you can find one that you choose.

If all else fails, go with the ultimate compromise - a 427 AC Cobra. Ungodly horsepower, classic styling, and impossible to find.

mm, im a big fan of early sixties bonnevilles. love em. and if you can find one with a 421 H.O., even better.

I have had a few

69 GTO rag top treated poorly to say the least had a huge motor in it was about it tho it would lift the tire up off the ground on a launch tho to much of that i bent it even worse then it was

65 Impala SS 327 with a rock crusher trans blue/green teal. real nice had to sell it the deal was to good to pass up.

78 T/A badnit (lol) went to the Ex (biotch)
