It'* because of the upper class? No. There is always going to be a 'lower' class of people and you can't blame the higher class citizens for the shortcomings of the 'lower' class. Everyone has the same opportunity to 'make it' and those who don't make the right decisions or don't try as hard can't blame those who HAVE made it for their failures. Furthermore, why should those who have made it have an obligation to help those who aren't in many cases trying as hard as they can to help themselves. Everyone 'owes' everyone something it seems like nowadays. Just my two cents.

First time I read the opening post I thought it said 5 million, I thought that doesn't sound too bad, (not that I would agree with it so don't jump me) there'* got to be that many people dieing of a terminal disease or wanting to commit suicide. Just speed it up and for god sake make it painless.
Then I looked back and saw 5 BILLION WTF?!!? Wonder how that scientist would feel if that plan was acted upon and they started off by killing off everyone he ever cared about right in front of him.
