ok when im connected to the internet(dial-up)....even if im not doing anything my connection is sending information like crazy.it never stops! i was thinkin maybe spyware. but i have Ad Aware and it still did it after running that. i dont know whats goin on.

Get zonealarm. It'll stop some of that, AND tell you what'* using the internet connection.

zonealarm is good. i use sygate personal firewall, tells you what program is sending or recieving information, lets you control who sends and revieces info from the net, also lets you backtrace the IP'* so you can see who the info is going to. its free ware too, no bs. i love it.

LittleHoov, I use NIS2003. Zonealarm is a good firewall also. Here is a link to it. Once there look for the free download link.

More than likely an IRC backdoor trojan. Check to see if mirc.exe is running in your processess (unless you running irc of course).
