The Transcription thing would be nice, but in the end some part time job is sort of what you need. Maybe you could do training 4 days a week, and possibly work 2-3 days a week?

The wife of a close friend of mine, has a medical transcription service, operating from a home office, with 14 employess working for her, from their own homes. She has transcription contracts with 6 major hospitals and many private doctors. Her business is growing so fast that my buddy is close to shutiing down his construction business and work with her by running the daily operations. She is looking into hiring another 8 employess since she is close to signing a big contract with another big HMO.

The people she hires must type at a certain speed, must know Windows programs such as Word, Excel and know how to use a database. I do not know if there are any specifc certification and/or training requirements.
