Default "LEGAL" MP3 downloading?

Anyone know of a program that will let me download MP3'* legaly? I am willing to pay but am just checking out different programs.

Beware ITunes!!! It only plays on ITunes!!! Also, I have found that the quality is NOT acceptable...jmo...

I use iTunes and I love using that program. I have never had a quality problem with it either. THe 128 KBPS quality isn't in MP3 format, it'* in an iTunes format which is equal to around 192 in MP3 format. I don't have any complaints other than you can't burn the songs you buy into a MP3 cd. (which is what I use mostly in my car.)
